## Summary

Poringland Parish Council is initiating a procurement process for the position of a consultant/architect for its recently acquired 30 acres of community amenity land located off The Ridings, Poringland, NR14 7WA. This project aims to create recreational and sporting facilities for local residents, with a total contract value of £80,000 and a minimum value of £25,000. The procurement method is an open procedure, with the tender period scheduled to end on 15 December 2021. The contract is expected to commence on 1 February 2022 and run until 1 February 2023.

This tender presents significant opportunities for architectural firms and design consultants, particularly those with experience in community projects and participatory public consultations. Businesses that specialise in designing multifunctional spaces, including sports facilities, parks, and community infrastructure, will find this project well-suited to their expertise. The involvement of local stakeholders, driven by Poringland Parish Council's commitment to community engagement, means that businesses that can effectively interact with and incorporate community feedback into their designs will be particularly competitive.
