## Summary

The NHS South, Central and West Commissioning Support Unit is currently in the planning stage of a procurement process for “Sexual Violence Therapies” on behalf of the Bath and North East Somerset (BaNES), Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board. This project focuses on the healthcare sector within the South West region of the United Kingdom. A Market Engagement Event (MEE) is scheduled for 16th August 2022, aimed at engaging potential service providers and understanding the opportunities and barriers to delivering Sexual Assault Therapeutic Services in Swindon and Wiltshire. Interested parties must submit their expressions of interest by 12th August 2022, and the anticipated contract is set to commence on 1st April 2023, with an estimated annual budget of approximately £188,000.

This procurement initiative presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in healthcare services, particularly those with experience in therapeutic support for sexual violence victims. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are encouraged to participate, as the commissioners are looking for suitably qualified and capable organisations to develop an integrated service that improves outcomes for children, young people, and adults. Companies offering innovative solutions, including IT support for case management and referral processes, are particularly well-positioned to contribute to this project, ultimately leading to potential growth and collaboration in the healthcare sector.
