## Summary

The public procurement process led by Northumbria Police involves the evaluation of the Domestic Abuse Whole System Approach Project. This project falls under the services category, specifically focusing on evaluation consultancy services. The tender is currently in the open stage, with a submission deadline set for 26 March 2018. The contract is expected to commence on 27 March 2018 and conclude on 28 March 2018. This initiative aims at improving domestic abuse services and addressing the gaps in existing support systems across multiple organisations in the Newcastle area.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in evaluation consultancy, particularly those with experience in social services and law enforcement collaboration. Companies capable of delivering comprehensive assessments and recommendations to enhance service effectiveness in community settings would be well-suited to compete for this contract. As Northumbria Police seeks a contractor to assess and report on programme impacts, firms with a proven track record in similar evaluations are encouraged to consider this opportunity for business growth.

## Notice

Northumbria Police and five other Forces have collaborated successfully to secure over PS7.5 million pounds worth of funding years via the Home Office Police Transformation Fund, to protect the most vulnerable in our communities. The funding is being used to implement and embed a number of transformational approaches to best practice in dealing with domestic abuse in line with police, OPCC and partner agency strategic objectives. There are gaps in current domestic abuse services and disjointed practices between agencies that affect the ability to effectively respond to the needs of victims and families. This project seeks to plug these gaps and provide a true whole system approach. The Vision of 'A Whole System Approach' is to transform domestic abuse services by giving police and partner agencies the ability to truly deliver lasting change and provide a template for all police and partnerships to deliver on. Northumbria Police as the Lead Authority is looking to appoint a suitably experienced Contractor who is able to effectively evaluate the impact of programmes / projects within communities across multiple organisations.
