## Summary

The procurement process involves Herefordshire Council seeking a scheduling system for its Home First and Hillside services. The tender, titled "Invitation to Tender for the provision of a scheduling system," is part of the services industry and is located in Hereford, West Midlands, United Kingdom. The procurement method is classified as selective, utilising a restricted procedure, and the tender period closed on 29 January 2021. The contract, valued at £75,000, commenced on 1 March 2021 and is scheduled to conclude on 29 February 2024.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with expertise in software solutions and scheduling systems. Companies that can deliver cost-effective, high-quality technology capable of enhancing efficiency in adult social care services would be particularly well-suited to compete. The demand for robust systems to streamline operations and ensure responsiveness in service delivery makes this a timely opportunity for innovative technology providers.

## Notice

Adult social care continues to face significant pressure on budgets set against increased demand for services. It is therefore essential to have robust and efficient systems to support key functions for the work in adult social care in order to deliver a responsive, cost effective service. Technology is a key enabler to support the following: - Scheduling of visits - Scanning in and out of properties for resident and worker safety - Charging clients for contact time (where appropriate) - Evidencing service delivery - Sharing real-time information between healthcare professionals. Effective rostering of staff is essential to ensure the staff members providing support are deployed in the most effective and efficient manner. Electronic scheduling including real-time monitoring, route planning, alerts and schedule updates will enable unused capacity to be fully utilised and ensure that services are able to react immediately to change and to deliver value for money. We are looking to procure a scheduling system for the council's Home First and Hillside services which is cost effective, delivers improvement, is of good quality and is 'user friendly'.
