## Summary

The Cornwall Council is currently conducting a tender process for the "Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Primary Care Identification & Referral Pathway." This initiative falls under the health and social work services industry category and is based in the South West region of the United Kingdom. The tender is in the active stage and is set to close on 28th September 2020, with contract implementation slated to start on 1st November 2020 and lasting until 31st October 2022. This procurement is being carried out through an open procedure, with a total contract value of £200,000.

This tender presents significant opportunities for growth, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) with expertise in domestic abuse and sexual violence services. Furthermore, those capable of establishing collaborative relationships with local general practices to enhance service delivery could find a robust avenue for business expansion within this contract's framework.

This will enable a needs led response to patients and their families and facilitate a trauma informed response to provide support and reduce the risk of future harm. The service will develop a primary care identification and referral pathway to address the needs of women, men, children and young people experiencing or impacted by abuse and also individuals engaging in abusive behaviour. The service will offer provision of experienced DASV workers to establish links and working relationships with the General Practices in their areas to provide DASV specialist training in early identification, routine enquiry, risk and need assessment and safety/support planning. In addition, the service will deliver a clear and comprehensive pathway for GPs and practice staff to refer into DASV services; acting as a SPOC and assisting in more complex cases, when necessary. The contract would provide a locality service that provides domestic abuse specialist practitioners situated across the mid, west and east of Cornwall in keeping with the 3 Integrated Care Areas.
