The event will be delivered in partnership with TRP's event delivery partner London Marathon Events (LME). The event will take place on the second Saturday of October and the estimated contract period is up to 3 years, from 2025 to 2027. TRP is looking for a suitable Event Owner, Corporate or Charity to plan and promote an annual event that is open to the public with a charitable aspect, and that makes use of the existing infrastructure in place for the Royal Parks Half Marathon which takes place on the succeeding Sunday and is also delivered by LME. It is estimated the cost per year for the Saturday Event will be PS300k-PS350k. This includes the site infrastructure and operations listed in 4.2. The final cost will be dependent upon the agreed event specification. The estimated total contract value across the three years is PS900k-PS1.05m. It is anticipated that the opportunity will be published in early Summer 2024.
