## Notice

This contract is for a professional and adaptable Cycle Services contract covering both the high quality, variety and volume of services required to meet the Council's cycling ambitions and road safety duty to reduce road casualties. Ealing wants to become an exemplar Borough for cycling where people in all parts of the Borough are willing to consider cycling for journeys up to 5km. In order to do this, people need to consider cycling safe, quick, convenient, fun and a 'normal' mode of travel. The Council's ambition is to grow mass cycling for all and deliver a strong cycling legacy for across the London Borough of Ealing area. This Cycle Services contract covers the following service areas: * Bikeability Standard Cycle Training Levels 1, 2 & 3 within schools * Bikeability Standard Cycle Training Levels 1, 2 & 3 for individuals and families * Dr Bike mechanic services * Community outreach activities including led rides for underrepresented groups * Organisation and management of events (including led cycle rides) * Two Summer of Cycling events and three led rides annually. All cycle training is offered free to all residents, employees and students within the London Borough of Ealing. The contract has been awarded for two-years from September 2020 to August 2022, with two optional one-year extensions to August 2023 and August 2024 respectively. The Cycle Services contract is managed by Ealing Council's Transport Planning Service (TPS).
