## Notice

The Civil Contingency Act 2004 places a legal requirement on Northumbria Police to develop a business continuity plan. The pest control services will cover all Northumbria Police owned and leased sites both internally and externally including any ancillary buildings or land within their boundaries. Buildings and sites vary in terms of size and layout and are located between Houghton-Le-Spring in the South to Berwick Upon Tweed in the North, and outwards past Hexham in the West. Most of the Employer's buildings are located in urban areas; however, Contractors need to be mindful that some buildings are located in rural areas of the region. The contract period is for an initial terms of 36 months, with 2 x 12 months optional extensions.
