Worcestershire County Council (WCC) have successfully secured funding to deliver Worcestershire SkillsForWork Programme - Apprenticeships and Traineeships to provide bespoke training and support to residents in Worcestershire, who are unemployed and those economically inactive and seeking a return to the labour market facing skills related barriers and progressing to Apprenticeships or Traineeships. The County Council is seeking to appoint Service Providers to deliver bespoke support and training that engages adults who are disadvantaged and economically inactive with activity that progresses them towards apprenticeship or traineeships. The Council is seeking to appoint Service Providers with funding available from the European Social Fund. Worcestershire County Council will have sub-contracting arrangements in place with successful Tenderers/Service Providers to deliver the programme across the County to provide a comprehensive range of support and training required under the Service Specification that provides solutions to remove employment barriers and education barriers and progress them to Apprenticeship or Traineeships.
