The service will promote the identification and understanding of the needs of young carers by working across both Adult and Children Services and with key agencies such as schools, social care, early help, universal services. The provider will be expected to deliver a broad range of promotional and engagement activities in order to raise awareness and understanding about young carers amongst service providers and the wider community. Tenderers should note that, from 1 April 2018, provision of children's social care services is to be transferred from the Council to Sandwell Children's Social Care Trust ("The Trust").
