The construction and engineering works are being undertaken via the procure 22 framework with the lead contractor being Kier. The Trust will be placing the order for the equipment to be procured installed and commissioned however these works will be taking place in a construction site under the control of the management contractor Kier. This tender is primarily related to the provision of the following items; a) Four instrument washer disinfectors each with a capacity of 15 DIN baskets per cycle with a cycle time of 30 minutes or less, the washers will all be steam heated with one having additionally an electrical heating system to provide contingency for steam loss b) Eight Transfer trolleys compatible with washers c) Eight Flat carriages with five levels to be used in the instrument washers d) Four cannulated instrument carriages for use in the instrument washers.
