## Summary

Nottinghamshire County Council has recently completed a procurement process for "Lot 26 - Aids and Adaptations to various Council-owned properties throughout the District of Ashfield." The project, falling under the construction industry category (45000000), aims at housing adaptations and involves various trades. The procurement utilized a selective method, specifically a restricted procedure, allowing only a pre-selected pool of suppliers to tender. Key activities must meet specific timeframes: small-scale adaptations within 10 working days, and large-scale adaptations within 40 working days. The entire project is valued at £640,000 and will take place in the East Midlands, UK, running from 1st July 2025 to 30th June 2028.

This procurement presents a lucrative opportunity for SMEs and suppliers in construction and related industries, such as architectural, engineering, and energy services, to engage in local government projects with potential subsequent business. With the successful contractor required to have flexible resources to meet fluctuating demands, businesses thriving in dynamic environments and capable of adaption to various trades, such as Matthews and Tannert Ltd, are ideally placed to benefit. This initiative not only sustains local enterprises but also strengthens community service infrastructure through structured enhancements in council housing.
