## Summary

The Parliament UK is launching a tender for the "FWK1128 - Mechanical Electrical Public Health (MEP), Conservation and Minor Works Framework Agreement", aiming to establish a multi-supplier framework for various works on the Parliamentary Estate, including the Palace of Westminster. The procurement method is an open procedure, and the tender period concludes at 12:00 noon UK time on 5th August 2020. The total contract value is estimated at £270 million, with a minimum value of £180 million. The contract duration is set for four years, starting from 12th October 2020, with options for one or two-year extensions. The projects cover mechanical electrical public health works, conservation, and minor works, primarily focused on ensuring business continuity and addressing health and safety concerns.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in construction and engineering, particularly those in mechanical and electrical services, conservation, and minor project works. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can leverage this framework to expand their portfolio by participating in comprehensive services required for the upkeep and functionality of important governmental infrastructures. Companies that are well-prepared to collaborate on large-scale, multifaceted projects will find this opportunity particularly advantageous, given the substantial budget and long contract duration.
