## Summary

The Grimsby Institute of Further and Higher Education, part of the TEC Partnership, is currently engaged in a waste management procurement process aimed at collecting waste across multiple educational sites in Yorkshire and the Humber. The contract is being procured through a selective method under the OJEU Restricted Procedure, with the tender period concluding on 29 March 2019. The awarded contract is set to commence on 17 June 2019 and will last for an initial three-year term, with the possibility of termination after the first year upon three months' notice. This initiative centres around consistent and effective waste collection services tailored to the specific needs of each site indicated in the tender documentation.

This tender represents an excellent opportunity for specialised waste management companies to expand their services within the education sector. Businesses that have experience in managing waste collection, particularly those that can demonstrate the ability to handle diverse waste streams and enhance waste management practices, would be well-suited to compete. Participation in this contract not only allows companies to secure a significant contract valued at £240,000 but also enables them to build a long-term relationship with a prominent educational organisation, potentially leading to further opportunities in similar sectors.
