## Summary

The Ministry of Defence, specifically the ISTAR, Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Delivery Team (CBRN DT), is currently undertaking a procurement process for the "Provision of an Auto-Injector Partner." This tender, classified under the pharmaceutical products industry, is being conducted using a selective procurement method through a negotiated procedure. The tender period is set to close on 30th June 2020, while the contract period will commence on 1st December 2020 and extend until 1st December 2035. The project's financial scope includes a minimum value of £20 million and an estimated total value of £100 million, with delivery to be carried out in the South West region of the United Kingdom.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in pharmaceuticals, medical consumables, and specialised chemical products. Companies with experience in medical equipment and services, particularly those adept in electronic trading via the Contracting, Purchasing, and Finance (CP&F) e-procurement system, will be well-positioned to compete. The procurement process prioritises suppliers who can demonstrate their capacity and capability through a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ), aiming to shortlist between three to six qualified suppliers for further negotiations.
