## Summary

The Security Industry Authority (SIA) has concluded a public procurement process titled "SIA 924 - Interim Employment Law Advice," focussed on the provision of legal services within the UK. The process was conducted using a "selective" procurement method through a call-off from a framework agreement, which implies a pre-selection of potential suppliers. The procurement falls under the services industry category, particularly in legal services, coded as CPV 79100000. The contract period commenced on 11 August 2025 and is scheduled to conclude on 10 August 2026. The award stage was finalised on 8 August 2025, with the contracting value of £65,000 being shared equally between two awarded suppliers, Wilkin Chapman Group Ltd and Womble Bond Dickinson, for their respective contractual responsibilities.

This tender presents significant business growth opportunities for companies in the legal industry, notably those specialising in employment law. SMEs and socially conscious enterprises are particularly encouraged to compete for such contracts due to the inclusivity highlighted in the tender's suitability criteria. The procurement process, administered by the Security Industry Authority, offers a chance for businesses to establish a work relationship with a reputable public authority and gain experience in providing specialised legal services, which include urgent ad hoc legal support, case-specific advice, and training for SIA staff. Such opportunities are ideal for firms seeking to expand their public sector client base and enhance their portfolio in legal services.
