## Summary

Peterborough City Council, through its private limited company Peterborough Limited (PL), is seeking contractors for the repair and maintenance of solar photovoltaic (PV) assets under the title "PL Solar Panel Repairs and Maintenance." This procurement initiative falls under the industry category of "Repair and maintenance services" with additional classification in "Solar panels." The project covers domestic and corporate solar PV assets across various locations in the UK, including the Northeast, Central, Peterborough, and Southeast regions. The procurement is currently in the tender stage, with an end date for tender submissions set for 24th March 2025. The contract period is slated to start on 20th May 2025 and will run until 18th May 2029.

This tender creates substantial opportunities for service-oriented businesses, particularly those proficient in solar panel maintenance and repairs. Companies with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management certifications and Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) standards are well-suited for this engagement. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to compete, offering their expertise across the four regional lots, each with specified asset counts and locations. This contract offers a long-term business growth opportunity by participating in a significant maintenance regime supporting Peterborough City Council's net zero targets and ongoing solar asset health checks.
