The 24 acre British High Commission Compound is located in the prestige residential area of Chanakyapuri, a short travelling distance from the city centre and well located for government business. The Compound comprises a mix of office, residential and amenity buildings, some of which are considered to be at or near the end of their life. With a strategy of "make do and mend" over the years, these buildings are showing considerable signs of wear and tear, and a major overhaul is long overdue.
