Furniture must comply with the following regulations: *Furniture and Furnishing (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 (as amended in 1989 & 1993) *All upholstered items must have fire resistant filling material. *All upholstered items must pass the "match resistance test" as prescribed. *All upholstered items must also pass the "cigarette test" as prescribed. *Relevant safety standards: BS7176, BS7177 & BS5867 *Relevant safety standards: BS4875
