RoRo berths #2 (a single deck floating pontoon) and #3 (a double deck floating pontoon) are separated by a mooring spine which services both berths. Berth #2 is presently in service, however berth #3 is presently not in use. It is intended that the output from the condition report will be utilised to inform a scope of works to keep #2 berth in regular service and to return #3 to a serviceable condition. The Contract is anticipated to commence upon 1 April 2022, or sooner if practicable, for a duration of 6 weeks. The procurement process will be undertaken on the basis of formal quotations. Evaluation will be on the basis of criteria and methodology as set out in the Invitation to Quote document. Any clarifications or questions must be submitted via the Message area of the Kent Business Portal by no later than 14.00hrs on 16 February 2022.
