The operation consists of managing goods-in from appointed suppliers, warehousing, storage, picking, packing and dispatching. The market consultations and RFI are intended to further the Post Office Ltd's understanding of the available market solutions in terms of operational, technical and commercial solutions. Subject to a successfully completing a request for information (our independent advisors will be conducting and evaluating the RFI) and the POL internal governance it is envisaged POL would run a procurement for outsourced warehouse operations. It should be noted that POL intend to nominate a provider of courier services to manage the delivery to POL's network of 11 500 branches.
