The purpose of the Hub is to provide a trusted service to those affected by crime and ASB that provides simple access to recovery services alongside guidance through the criminal justice system from statement to court. The service will provide tailored pathways for Humberside victims to access: - Guidance through the Criminal Justice System, improving justice outcomes - Wider recovery services including links with health and social care where appropriate The service will support or have a pathway for all individuals affected by crime. The definition of a crime will have a lower threshold than police forces as it will include all levels of ASB and where an individual is in need the service will endeavour to find a pathway to assist them. The overall aim of the service is to enable victims of crime to 'cope and recover' with the impact of the crime and to recover from the harm experienced in the shortest possible time. The purpose of the Victims Hub Service is to ensure the individual affected by crime receives the most appropriate service for their needs, in the most efficient way.
