## Summary

NHS England and NHS Improvement is seeking proposals for the provision of pharmacy services to Kent and Medway Prisons, under the title "WA11482 - Pharmacy Service to Kent and Medway Prisons." This procurement, classified under health services and pharmacy services, is at the tender stage and is set to conclude on 1st September 2022. The contract, valued at £13,800,000, will commence on 1st April 2023 and run for six years. This tender presents substantial growth opportunities for businesses specialising in healthcare services, particularly those that can deliver high-quality pharmacy services in a correctional setting. Companies that focus on medicines management, healthcare integration, and tailored services for diverse populations will be especially well-suited to compete. The emphasis on needs-led and patient-centred delivery signifies a preference for providers that can demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness to the unique challenges within prison healthcare environments.
