## Notice

1.1 In February 2021 there were 2.7 million people claiming either Job Seekers Allowance or Universal Credit with a requirement to work, a 110% increase on the previous year. Following on from this, the number of claimants who reach over 12 months in unemployment is expected to rise dramatically.
