## Summary

The Home Office is initiating a procurement process titled "Advance Notification of Home Office Funding for Serious and Organised Crime 'Prevent' Projects and Instructions on How to Register." This tender falls within the industry categories of "Design and execution of research and development," as well as "Social work and related services," and is situated in England and Wales. The procurement is currently in the Planning stage, with an estimated budget of £20,000 for a grant funding opportunity that will support various pilot interventions to prevent serious and organised crime over a contract period from June 15, 2018, to March 29, 2019. Interested parties are invited to register via an online e-sourcing suite, with the bidding round set to open on March 8, 2018, and further notifications planned for April 26, 2018.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those experienced in social services, community engagement, or crime prevention initiatives. Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprises (VCSEs) are especially encouraged to participate, as the funding aims to pilot innovative solutions and enhance understanding of issues related to serious and organised crime. Companies that can demonstrate effective proposals to assist vulnerable individuals at risk of involvement in such crime are well-positioned to compete for this funding.
