## Summary

The procurement process involves Hampshire County Council seeking a provider to develop a suite of e-learning modules aimed at educational staff across the South East of England. The project, titled "Public Health E-Learning modules build and subject matter expert content," is in the Award stage following the completion of the tender, which ended on 9th October 2020. The total value of the awarded contract is £75,038, and the expected contract period runs from 7th January 2021 to 22nd October 2021. This initiative falls under the e-learning services category.

This tender presents a valuable opportunity for businesses specialising in educational technology and e-learning content creation. Companies with the capability to design and deliver interactive, self-paced online learning modules could greatly benefit from this contract. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary community sector enterprises (VCSE) with experience in developing tailored educational resources would be well-suited to participate in similar future tenders, fostering business growth in the health and education sectors.

## Notice

The eLearning Provider is required to develop a suite (minimum of nine (9) roughly 20-minute modules) of high-quality, interactive self-paced eLearning modules. The eLearning modules will be targeted at staff working within educational settings from early years through to further education (as relevant). The eLearning modules will be presented to users in an integrated way via the Hampshire Health in Education website on the Authority's Learning Management System which will be used to host, track, and record online learning delivered through this new provision. The Provider will source the subject matter expertise required, design and build the modules, including alpha and beta testing phases. The provider will deliver the final eLearning modules to the Authority in an agreed suitable format. Additional information: Hampshire Health in Education (HHiE) is a workstream of Hampshire County Council Public Health. Its aim is to provide educational settings with information, guidance and resources to aid them in supporting the health and wellbeing of the children and young people in their care and their families. Our vision: All staff working in educational settings feel informed and enabled to support every child in Hampshire to be healthy, happy and ready to learn. Our aim: To enable educational settings across Hampshire to confidently and competently deliver, health and wellbeing knowledge, support and action to children and young people (and their families where appropriate), helping them to have the best start in life. Through the HHiE work we are looking to develop a suite of introductory-level, free eLearning modules suitable for all education staff (from senior leaders to administrative staff). This is the first bespoke eLearning that HHiE will deliver to education staff. Learners looking for more in-depth training (such as face to face courses) will be directed to the Hampshire Inspection and Advisory Service (HIAS) or other local training providers.
