## Notice

Medway's People Strategy 2021-25 sets out a number of core priorities for children and young people: * Children in Medway will have the best start in life. * Children and young people in Medway will develop well. * Children and young people in Medway will live independent and fulfilled lives into an active older age. * Children and young people in Medway contribute to their community and have a meaningful say in decisions and services that shape their lives. Medway is currently consulting on its Joint Local Area SEND Strategy 2022-25, which, building on the priorities in the People Strategy, sets out the following key ambitions: * Ambition 1: Achieving the best outcomes, through inclusion and participation * Ambition 2: Preparing for a successful future at the earliest opportunity. * Ambition 3: Working together with children and young people with SEND and their families. * Ambition 4: Access to the right support, at the right time, in the right place. * Ambition 5: Children and young people with SEND recover from the Covid pandemic.
