UK Shared Business Services (UK SBS) is acting on behalf of the MRC - Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB) to give notification of their intention to invite tenders for the following requirement; The MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology is seeking a high performance imaging camera to be installed in a relatively inexpensive Philips CM200 microscope running at 100 keV with a side entry stage. The camera is required to have both high detective quantum efficiency and run continuously at a sufficiently high frame rate to allow an exposure with at least 100 electrons per pixel to be recorded in one second. Additional information: Closing date and time for receipt of bids: 10/11/2017 11:00 Note : Do not apply directly to the Buyer. Please disregard any content in this notice that requests your organisation "to apply directly to the buyer" as this unfortunately a system generated error, that is outside of the Contracting Authorities control . All submissions will be assessed in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, for procurement values that exceed Regulation 5 (Threshold amounts). This procurement will be managed electronically via the Crown Commercial Service's e-Sourcing Suite. To participate in this procurement, participants shall first be registered on the e-Sourcing Suite. If Bidders have not yet registered on the eSourcing Suite, this can be done online at https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/emptoris by following the link 'Supplier eSourcing Registration'. Please note that, to register, Bidders must have a valid DUNS number (as provided by Dun and Bradstreet) for the organisation which you are registering, who will be entering into a contract if invited to do so.
