## Notice

West Midlands Fire and Rescue Authority (the Authority) currently uses a range of watercraft from different suppliers which are now due for replacement. The current fleet ranges from 3.6m rotary moulded hulls to 5m Inflatable Rescue Boats. These are propelled by various outboards such as; Mariner 30/40hp, 2 stroke, 4 stroke, and Evinrude ETEC 30hp. The Authority is looking to consolidate this fleet providing a standardised approach requiring two boat sizes, one not less than 4m (X4)and one no more than 5 metres (X1) in length. These shall be powered by the most appropriately sized engine for performance set out in DEFRA. The tender is for boats, outboard motors and trailers to be supplied as a complete package and 5 years of support and provision of spares.
