## Summary

The University of Sunderland has completed the award process for the "Major Capital Contractor Framework," aiming to enhance service quality and promote partnerships across the region. The procurement method used was an open procedure, and the award was officially documented on 8th February 2019, with contracts commencing on 7th January 2019 and set to conclude on 31st January 2022. This project falls under the construction industry category and is located in Sunderland, North East England, with an emphasis on various construction-related services.

This framework presents a valuable opportunity for businesses in construction and related services, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary and community sector enterprises (VCSEs). Companies with expertise in areas such as mechanical installations, building construction, and architectural services would be well-positioned to engage in future tenders under this framework, as the University seeks to develop efficient, high-quality facilities that fulfill emerging requirements and contribute to the regeneration of Sunderland City Centre.
