This exercise aims to gather input from potential providers regarding packaging and scoping a future procurement opportunity. The engagement end date for this exercise is set for April 17, 2024. The Council is seeking feedback from interested parties to inform potential future procurement decisions. The Council will hold consultation sessions for interested providers to discuss responses and provide insights. This tender presents an opportunity for businesses in the administrative educational services and education and training services sectors to participate in the soft market testing exercise. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community, and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations are encouraged to engage with the Birmingham City Council. Interested businesses should complete a questionnaire and attend consultation sessions to contribute to the options appraisal process. For further information or inquiries, businesses can contact the Birmingham Virtual School at birminghamvirtualschool@birmingham.gov.uk. ## Notice Birmingham Virtual School (BVS) is currently developing proposals for its enrichment programme prior to formulating any potential formal procurement opportunity. With this soft market testing , BVS is seeking input from the market as to what might be the most potentially attractive way of packaging and scoping any potential future procurement opportunity. This exercise will also enable BVS to obtain insight into how potential providers might approach the delivery of the services. It will also provide useful insight into the likely level of interest in the proposed Service(s). Potential bidders will not be prejudiced by any response or failure to respond to this exercise or attend the meetings. Potential bidders should note that a response to this notice does not guarantee an invitation to participate in any possible future procurement that the Council may conduct, nor that the Council will procure any such supply and services or accept any proposals offered. BVS has developed a questionnaire for interested parties to complete and return. Providers will have the opportunity to attend a consultation session or be invited to meet with the project team to discuss the responses. The Provider consultation sessions will take place on Monday 08th April 10am-11.30am and Thursday 11th April 11.30am-1.00pm The outcome of this soft market testing will inform an options appraisal with recommendations.
