## Summary

The Blisworth Parish Council is currently conducting a tender process for the "Street lighting upgrade" project, aimed at modernising 68 street lights in the village located in England. This procurement falls under the goods category, with a total estimated value of £20,000. The procurement method used is a single tender action, classified as a direct procurement below the threshold. The tender is open until the deadline of 27th November 2020, with the contract expected to commence on 11th January 2021 and concluding by 31st March 2021. Interested contractors should ensure they meet all safety standards and regulatory requirements as outlined in the tender specifications.

This opportunity allows businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to engage in the supply and installation of energy-efficient lighting solutions. Firms specialising in lighting equipment, electrical services, and related maintenance are well-suited for this tender. With a focus on reducing energy consumption and ongoing costs, businesses that can offer innovative and efficient lighting solutions can significantly benefit from this project, contributing to both community infrastructure and their own growth.
