## Notice

Centrica plc's Cornwall Local Energy Market project (LEM) is a part EU funded pioneering initiative involving the development of a virtual marketplace. The trial provides participants (homes and businesses) with a platform to buy and sell energy and flexibility both to the supply networks and the wholesale energy market. The project will also be installing new generation, and energy storage solutions, which will allow us to explore how individuals and businesses interact with the technology. Centrica plc wishes to appoint a Supplier or Suppliers to provide battery energy storage systems (and Solar PV) for Residential application. The Supplier or Suppliers are expected to be suitably experienced, capable, with proven technology which is planned to be installed in early to mid 2018. Suppliers will be required to undertake residential technical surveys, make recommendations including the maximum size of battery energy storage systems (and Solar PV) and other technical requirements (e.g. electrical connections), install, commission and test equipment when installed, along with providing field support for the remainder of the programme (until March 2020). This Pre-Qualifying Questionnaire is intended to identify suitable Suppliers to invite to submit proposals for the tender. Storage suppliers are encouraged to apply with a named PV supplier. Additional information: Cornwall LEM is an ERDF funded project and as such operates under national procurement rules.
