## Summary

The procurement process for the project titled "Intervention to enhance positive practice environments" is being conducted by NHS Improvements, located in London, United Kingdom. This tender, classified under evaluation consultancy services, is at the Award stage as of June 2, 2020. The procurement method used is an open procedure, with an estimated contract value of £45,000 and a minimum threshold of £25,000. The contract period commenced on February 26, 2020, and will conclude on February 26, 2021. Interested parties had until February 11, 2020, to submit their applications for this initiative aimed at testing the transferability of an existing evidence-based intervention across various healthcare settings.

This contract presents significant opportunities for businesses in the healthcare consultancy sector, particularly those with proven evidence-based interventions designed to enhance leadership skills and organisational culture. Companies that specialise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, as well as those experienced in healthcare environments and cultural change projects, would be particularly well-suited to compete. The focus on improving staff and patient environments offers a chance for growth for small and medium-sized enterprises keen on contributing to national health priorities.

To Apply please go to https://www.mytenders.co.uk/Default.aspx The reference for this requirement is JAN159129 This procurement is to secure the services of a suitably qualified organisation to deliver an existing evidence-based intervention designed to develop local leadership skills and behaviours to support wards and organisations to build sustainable, positive environments for staff and patients. We need to test the transferability of an existing evidence-based intervention which has been developed in the acute sector, in other healthcare settings (e.g. mental health) to enhance our understanding about the opportunities for developing a positive practice environment and associated improved outcomes. The invitation to quote is specifically looking for organisations to submit an application outlining how an existing evidence-based intervention can be tested in a new setting to explore transferability. Through supporting the spread of this intervention rather than investing in developing a new piece of work in the same area, it is anticipated it can enhance the key national priorities outlined above as well as impact of the existing intervention by truly exploring the intricacies of what works to improve culture and engage staff. It also allows us to test the sustainability of an existing model which can prove difficult in an ever-changing health and social care climate. The supplier should be in a position to put forward: - An existing evidence-based intervention, which has fostered an improved culture of compassionate care among hospital based nursing teams; - An approach to test the transferability of their intervention using several methods - qualitative and quantitative, including how they will evaluate its impact and assess value for money; - How the findings will contribute to the national ambitions to improve supply and retention (through positive practice environments, supporting and developing leaders and reducing sickness absence amongst other objectives).
