The services to be provided are to include: a UK daily media monitoring service (broadcast, print, online); international media monitoring (online only); a comprehensive UK media contacts database (with licences for up to 10 people); a monthly insight/evaluation report; and an annual evaluation report. For the purpose of this procurement British Council is only focusing on the UK but may expand to consolidate requirements outside the UK where the service provider awarded the contract may be able to support its global operations and is more cost effective then compared local solutions. Currently British Council has media monitoring requirements in all its regions where it operates so Asia Pacific, Americas, EU, Wider Europe, Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.
