Building on the success of the Discovery Visit programme at Stonehenge, the new STEM Heritage Learning programme represents a significant step-change in our offer, creating original and exciting opportunities for students to participate in innovative workshops and activities shaped in collaboration with teachers, academics and industry specialists, and informed by the proposed Stonehenge Learning Advisory Board. To get the maximum benefit from the innovation of a heritage-based STEM programme, we seek to develop a new suite of curriculum-linked STEM in Heritage programmes, including both self- and expert-led workshops. We also plan to update and enhance the existing suite of learning programmes (DVs and FEVs) which are inspirational and sector-leading to maximise their potential to contribute to STEM learning. English Heritage is looking to appoint a consultant to deliver the development and implementation of a suite of curriculum-linked STEM in Heritage programmes.
