## Summary

The Department for Transport is currently seeking bids for the "IMO Plantroom Floor Re-waterproofing Works" project, classified under construction work within the UK. This tender, having been published on 24 April 2017, is in the Tender stage and requires submission of proposals via the AWARD e-Portal by 17:00 on 2 May 2017. The successful contractor will be expected to carry out the work at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) located at 4 Albert Embankment, London SE1 7SR, with the project slated to commence on 8 May 2017 and concluding by 19 May 2017. Only contractors approved for the KEMPER SYSTEM will be eligible for this opportunity, emphasising the need for specific qualifications and adherence to a tight schedule. Further details and registration instructions can be found in the provided ITT documentation.

This tender presents significant opportunities for contractors, particularly those with expertise in waterproofing and construction work. Businesses capable of delivering KEMPER SYSTEM applications and meeting tight deadlines would find this project ideal for expansion. As the work is planned during a period of lower utilisation at the IMO, contractors who can efficiently manage such projects without impacting ongoing operations will have a competitive edge. Small and medium enterprises with the requisite skills and certifications are encouraged to participate, as this project not only promises immediate work but also the potential for ongoing partnerships in similar future projects.

## Notice

The Department for Transport (DfT) are seeking an APPROVED KEMPER SYSTEM contractor to carry out an application of a KEMPER resin-based waterproofing system to a plantroom floor at the International Maritime Organization (IMO), 4 Albert Embankment, London SE1 7SR. The works will also include facilitating mechanical and electrical works. The works must be completed by only an APPROVED KEMPER SYSTEM contractor and provide written proof of this as part of their tender bid. All bids must be submitted via an e-portal (Award) System BY 17.00 2nd MAY 2017. We are looking to carry out these works during the first half of May 2017 (start w/c 8 May 2017 and complete by 19th May 2017) where there will be a short break period where the building will not be heavily utilised by the International delegates that form the IMO. Therefore having a contractor who is able to work to a tight schedule and possess the key expertise to complete the works fully is imperative. Please refer to the ITT pack for further information and full details.
