Contract Notice for a 0-19 (25) Public Health Nursing Service for Reading, West Berkshire and Wokingham (collectively known as Berkshire West) Reading Borough Council as Procurement Lead, acting on behalf of Commissioners invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced providers to provide the Public Health Nursing Service 0-19 (up to 25 years for young people with special educational needs and disabilities) from 1st April 2022 - 31st March 2025 with the option to extend for a further 2 years. Berkshire West Commissioners have developed a single service specification for the provision of 0-19's Public Health Nursing Services across the Berkshire West region with some local variation. This service specification is made up of essential provision (Section 7.2 and 7.3) This is the core 0-19 (25) service model across Berkshire West which is required in all three local authority areas with associated KPI's attached for service delivery both across all and within each region. There are additional Local Authority specific elements (Section 8 Essential provision) There are new additional Berkshire West elements based on the 2021 update to the Healthy Child Programme Commissioning Guidance which includes a review at 3 months and 6 months, review at 3-3.5 years, specialist Health Visitor in perinatal and infant mental health (Health visiting and school nursing service delivery model - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)) This is detailed as Optional provision (Section 9). The aim of the procurement is to deliver the essential and optional elements detailed within the specification within the maximum available budget of PS6,601,750.00. The optional provision may be contracted at the discretion of each Local Authority. The procurement documents will be available for download up until the closing time and date for submissions, it is the organisation's responsibility to ensure that they download the documents in ample time to ensure that they can be completed and returned electronically, along with supporting documents, prior to the closing time and date stipulated.
