## Summary

The Somerset County Council is currently leading a procurement process for a four-year Framework Agreement titled "Framework Agreement for the Provision of Civil Debt Enforcement Agent Services." This covers services for both Somerset and Dorset counties, classified under "Bailiff services" and also includes "Parking enforcement services." The tender is in the active planning stage with an open procurement method. Interested parties have until 10 April 2017 to submit their bids, with the contract commencing on 6 July 2017 and concluding on 5 July 2021. The estimated value of the contract is £1,000,000.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in civil debt enforcement and related services. SMEs are particularly encouraged to apply, as they may find this framework advantageous for securing contracts related to the enforcement of unpaid penalty charge notices (PCNs). With an annual estimate of 2,500 warrants for Somerset and 1,000 for Dorset, businesses capable of delivering high-quality enforcement agent services are well-suited to compete for this framework, providing a potential avenue for substantial business growth in local public sector contracts.
