Subject to activity and demand, there will also be a requirement to carry out ad-hoc, discharges or transfers subject to authorisation from the appropriate Trust personnel. Taxis are to be booked in accordance with the needs of the Trust and therefore, demand may vary substantially. The provider will be required to provide a 24-hour, daily, every day during the contract period (weekends and Bank Holidays included), and the service provided must be promptly executed. Taxis must be available day and night to provide the service to the Trust as required. No vehicles must be used for the transportation of persons or items whilst being used on journeys requested by the Trust, or carrying medical records/pathology/blood samples. We are going out for 3 lots - Lot 1 is for the Carlisle area only; Lot 2 is for the Whitehaven area only; and Lot 3 is for both areas.
