This tender, titled "NWL0109 Provision of Specialist Nursing Home Care in North West London," aims to ensure service users have access to adequate nursing home care. The engagement period ends on 27th May 2022, with early engagement activities published in a market notice on 27th April 2022. The CCG is focused on evaluating existing service needs as it prepares to transition to an Integrated Care Board (ICB) later in 2022. The anticipated workload includes catering for adults and children in need of continuing healthcare, especially those aged over 65, which may allow providers to expand their service offerings and client base in the region. ## Notice NWL CCG requires the provision of Specialist Nursing Home Care services in Hounslow - North West London CCG region. The aim of the service is to provide service users access to Nursing Home Care provision. The Services are commissioned by NWL CCG for the care of adults and children eligible for fully funded NHS CHC, including Service Users in receipt of NHS CHC through a fast track pathway and NHS Funded Discharge to Assess Clients. The key requirements of the service are : *22 Nursing Home Beds *Admissions 7 days a week to support hospital discharge *Hounslow Borough to support rapid discharge from key local acute hospitals including West Middlesex Hospital and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital *The Admission criteria is for clients aged over 65 years of age *High Quality of Care - CQC Rated Good *Access to Self Funding Beds and Local Authority Beds for clients - when no longer under D2A or Continuing Health Care . The CCG ( via the Local Authority) currently has contract arrangements in place with Care UK - Charlotte House until 31st March 2022 with an estimated annual value of PS1,071,431. NWL CCG is committed to assess the needs of the service users and consider how (if relevant) it needs to secure the needs of the people who use the services, and improve the quality and efficiency in the provision of the services including through the services being provided in an integrated way. The purpose of this PIN is to be transparent about the CCG's intentions to undertake a procurement process in the coming 12 months. Any capable provider may come forward by 27th May 2022 to engage with the CCG. During 2022, it is anticipated that NWL CCG will be succeeded by an Integrated Care Board (ICB).
