The vision for the new Oldham Events Space is to create a new Events Space that will be known across Oldham and Greater Manchester as a centre for Music, Culture, Conferences and Community Events. It will be known as a space that's open for use across all demographics and a space that creates its own identity, a space that is used throughout the day 7 days a week for events of varying scales from small community events to a space for local cultural talent to develop through to commercial conferences and events for 500+ people. The primary objectives of this preliminary market engagement is to gain market insight on the vision and business plan for the space and how the commercial and legal relationship between the Council and Operator could be structured.
