## Summary

The Houses of Parliament is initiating a tender process for the "Mechanical Electrical Public Health (MEP), Conservation and Minor Works Framework Agreement," focused on construction work within the UK. This procurement is in the planning stage, with an engagement end date set for 12th May 2020. The estimated annual works value for MEP services ranges between GBP 10 million to GBP 15 million, with similar values for conservation and minor works, highlighting significant opportunities for contractors in London and surrounding areas.

This tender presents lucrative opportunities for businesses skilled in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works, as well as conservation and general construction services. Companies that can lead, coordinate, and manage delivery projects for the Parliamentary Estate are particularly well-suited to compete. The framework will utilise traditional and design and build procurement methods, making it attractive for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) looking to expand their engagements in the public sector, alongside opportunities for contractors capable of meeting performance management criteria.
