Domestic Homicide Reviews (DHRs) have been introduced to enable lessons to be learned from homicides where a victim has been murdered as a result of domestic violence. The home office has produced guidance on the process of conducting the reviews, however, the structure and administration of these reviews is dependent on the DHR chair, some of whom have limited experience of the DHR process. To provide and deliver a highly professional product that minimised disruption to staff. To understand the essential activities required to obtain all necessary information and demonstrate significant knowledge of the dynamics of domestic violence and abuse to undertake a thorough analysis of the findings.
