## Summary

Birmingham City Council is inviting tenders for the provision of Arboriculture Services, focusing on non-PFI tree maintenance within the northern areas of the city, specifically the Perry Barr, Hodge Hill, Ladywood, Sutton Coldfield, and Erdington constituencies. The council oversees approximately 736,000 trees, requiring various maintenance services such as tree inspections, pruning, and felling as needed. This procurement initiative utilises a selective procurement method via a restricted procedure and is currently in the Tender stage. Interested suppliers must submit their selection questionnaire by 12:00 noon on 21st October 2021, with the contract period running from 1st April 2022 to 31st March 2027.

This tender represents significant opportunities for businesses in the tree maintenance and arboriculture sector, particularly those capable of offering a broad range of services outlined in the framework agreement, including both routine and emergency tree care. Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, making this an ideal opportunity for local service providers and contractors with the necessary expertise in tree management and maintenance to contribute to the upkeep of municipal green spaces in Birmingham.
