We therefore invite you to participate in an invite only tender for the contract to provide these services. The University of Nottingham Estates Department requires a number of buildings to be risk assessed in relation to the risk posed to its water systems from legionnaires' Disease. The Health and Safety Executive define this process as follows: The risk assessment identifies and assesses the risk from legionellosis from work activities and water sources on premises and determines any necessary precautionary measures. All buildings need to be risk assessed in accordance with: o HSC ACoP L8 Legionnaires' disease.
