## Summary

The BCH Procurement, representing the Police and Crime Commissioners for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Hertfordshire, is conducting a tender for a Framework Agreement for the Provision of Building Works and Property Maintenance. This procurement falls under the construction industry category, specifically focusing on police stations and other law enforcement buildings. The tender period will close on 13th May 2019, with the contract lasting from 7th October 2019 to 6th October 2023. The procurement method employed is a selective or restricted procedure, and the total value of the framework is set at £22 million over its four-year lifetime, divided into four distinct lots based on the nature of the required works.

This framework agreement presents substantial opportunities for businesses, particularly those specialising in construction and building maintenance. Companies capable of providing reactive and emergency maintenance, as well as undertaking larger projects valued between £40,000 and £1,000,000, would be well-positioned to compete effectively. With a focus on police premises, businesses that can ensure rapid response times and meet stringent quality standards will find this tender particularly advantageous for expanding their contracts within the public sector.
