## Summary

Chichester District Council has awarded a contract for the appointment of a Project Manager as part of Phase 2 of its Public Conveniences Refurbishment Programme. This initiative aims to modernise facilities and enhance accessibility and sustainability across several sites in the South East of the United Kingdom, including locations such as Bracklesham Bay and Selsey. The contract, managed by Hampshire County Council, falls under the services category with a focus on project-management activities. The award was completed through a selective direct call-off from the NHS Healthcare Planning, Construction Consultancy, and Ancillary Services framework, highlighting its strategic nature. The procurement process is in the award stage, with the contract running from 1st January 2026 to 31st December 2027, and has a total value of £42,882.

This procurement offers an excellent opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), such as those specialising in project management services outside of construction work, to engage with public sector projects focused on infrastructure enhancement. Businesses with expertise in coordinating design development, managing procurement teams, and overseeing construction timelines will find this tender particularly beneficial. It enables active participation in public sector projects, potentially leading to further opportunities for collaboration with local government bodies like Chichester District Council and Hampshire County Council.
