## Summary

The New Forest District Council is seeking tenders for the installation of a Chemical Bulk Delivery System at all five of its Health and Leisure Centres. This procurement process is currently in the Tender stage, with a closing date for submissions set for 12.00 noon on 8th March 2019. The project falls under the category of Chemical products and requires a budget of between £50,000 and £60,000. The contract is anticipated to commence on 1st April 2019 and will extend until 31st May 2019. The delivery of the chemical equipment will take place within the South East region of the United Kingdom, specifically at locations operated by the council.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those specialising in the chemical equipment sector, as well as those with capabilities in bulky chemical delivery and installation services. Companies that are experienced in safety protocols for chemical handling, especially for swimming pool treatment solutions, will be well-positioned to compete. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate in this open procurement process, which fosters inclusivity and competition in the marketplace.

## Notice

Installation of Chemical Bulk Delivery System at all Five Health and Leisure Centres operated by New Forest District Council. New Forest District Council (NFDC) is undertaking a review of the method used for the delivery of Sulphuric Acid for swimming pool water treatment at all 5 of the Health and Leisure Centres within the district. Sulphuric Acid is currently delivered in 25kg carboys. It has been decided to convert to a bulk delivery of the acid into a 1,250 litre GRP reinforced bulk chemical storage tank. This will eliminate the need for manual handling. The scope of the works is to remove existing equipment, manufacture, supply and install the correct components and equipment, including the provision of suitable bunding, to deliver Sulphuric Acid in bulk into each of the pools within each leisure centre safely. Closing Date for Submission of Tenders: 12.00 NOON, 8th March 2019 To be returned electronically via the Council's e-tendering solution "Pro-Contract" hosted on the South East Business Portal (SEBP)
