## Summary

The Cleveland Fire Authority is in the planning stage of procuring a Fuel Management System, classified under Software package and information systems and vehicle-fleet-support services. The procurement process is currently in the market engagement phase, with interested parties asked to express their interest by 8th November 2024. A market engagement event is scheduled for the week commencing 18th November 2024 at the Cleveland Fire Brigade's Training & Administration Hub in Hartlepool, TS25 5TH. This engagement aims to explore supplier capabilities in providing an automated fuel management/control system, replacing the older models in nine locations.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses in the software and fleet management industries, particularly those specialising in automated control systems. SMEs and VCSEs (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprises) are particularly encouraged to participate. Suppliers with experience in delivering secure, remote fuel management solutions and integrating with external fleet management systems will find this opportunity well-suited to their expertise. The event will provide a platform for suppliers to demonstrate their capabilities and discuss potential collaboration with the Cleveland Fire Brigade, paving the way for future procurement opportunities.
